Wedding Nightmare

So, I don't know if this happens to all brides...however, this one had a horrible dream about the wedding day. Let me start from the beginning.

I'm in a car and a few seconds later I arrive with my father and mother (who have been divorced for awhile....and I don't see them sitting next to each other in real time.) I step out of a black car looking out into a field in which the seating and isles are being put together. As I over fill with joy, I turn to my right and there's a full wedding off to the right of me. WTF! is my thought....I wanted (in the dream) for this to be a secluded wedding. As I complain to the property owner (because he's there for some reason) He said "they're wrapping it up in 20min. You still have 2 hrs till you start. It should be fine". I crossed my arms. Then one of my close friends came to tell me that the catering person we had isn't coming....so we'll have to figure out something else for food and cake. AHHHH! I started to have a panic attack, end of dream.

It's so weird that I would fear something like this? I don't even want a wedding outside (it will be too cold in November) What the crap was this dream about? AH maybe symbolism? Now that I think about it...these are all possible things that could happen on a wedding day. Time to make plan B in case things get like this. ::phew:: glad none of this really happened to me.

back at it

So, I'm back at this bloggy thing. I need to keep everyone informed on what is about to happen. This transition (I hope) will be very smooth.
First off, I'M GETTING MARRIED! Finally after 5-6yrs of trial and tribulations, Shadow and I have decided to officially be a family unit. I'm so glad that there are no children in the equation making this decision for us. Seriously, how many people do you know that get married because of children? How many of those marriages work? It's a pretty sad statistic when you look at it....but hey! It's out there and happens everyday. Anyhow, I'm glad we've waited this long. We were able to work through all the little newly wedded crap early. For example, shoes in the middle of the floor, never picking up laundry, dishes, stop being lazy, set goals, save money, have patience, be understanding, Love unselfishly, try putting your spouses needs first before your own. These are all things that we've pretty much mastered. Even in arguing we tend to squabble like an old woman and her husband...however there is absolutely no violence and we always close out our arguments (so we don't have them tread over a long period of time).

All in all, I'm happy to be sharing my experience with everyone and even possible helping future brides with my tips that I have to share!
Stay posted :)

Vlog 3 Thrift shops

I absolutely love thrift shops!

They are so nifty and affordable. Today's fashion can be easily accomplished by buying something thrifty and turning it into something nifty! For example, All the tight jeans everyone is wearing? Can't find a pair that fits you right? Buy a used pair that is a little too big BUT CHEAPER! and tailor it to fit you customarily. JUST FOR YOU! You can almost feel like a diva if you have clothes that only fits you. HAHA, AND sucks for the person that decides to steal your clothes from the laundromat. Suckers. Anyhow! A few tips I would like to share with everyone and anyone who thrift shops. PLEASE PLEASE! Look for any holes or waring. Make sure the price tag is worth what you are getting (if there are holes in a shirt and the shirt costs $6, ask someone if they could bring the price down). Also, ALWAYS look at size and try on what you are getting. Even though it says large.....doesn't mean it is. Usually thrift clothing has shrank in the last couple of years the item has been circulating.

Hope this helps!

Filming, YAY

Well, tonight and during tomorrows day. Brandon and I will be filming our 2nd skit. And Hopefully getting started on our 3rd. The progression is slow, BUT! There's only 2 of us filming, directing, setting up scenes, writing, editing, etc. SO MUCH for such a little skit. We can only hope to get paid eventually for this. But, that's not our intention. We want to have fun and feel what it feels like to build a relationship around theater. I'm taking theater either this semester or during the summer....I hope to learn lots about actor and prop set up! AND of course I will be sharing via video :) Soon everything will be rolling. I feel it in my gut how excited I am!!!! I hope to get others involved and share it amongst anyone who will give me the time or day.

OH YEAH! AND I'm filming the first Yo'Wednsday today, right now.....SHWOOOOOOOOOOAAAAA camera mode.

Food for thought (Slight update)

ok, now that I have posted a few things I found that were lost amongst other things. (May have to do a vault one day, note to self) Anyhow, Brandon and I have successfully filmed our first skit. We hope to be working on the next few this week. He and I have discussed if we should release these skits one by one or do it in threes. I complained that it was taking too long to even film one….so, I voted for one at a time. He says he would rather wait 3 months and release 3 or 4 and have them fully edited with music/sound effects etc. This is where he and I always have to choose. Do we get really serious about the directing, writing and acting? or do we just do it for fun and just see what we can create. I’m always a fan of doing both. Start having fun so you will continue to do it and then get serious when things start rolling. Otherwise you may have a poor out come and feel like you’ve totally lost everything. INSTEAD of, remember how much fun you had doing it. Seems to be similar in a relationship….but I’m TALKING ABOUT SKITS HERE! lol
In the end, it all boils down to what do you value more? The experience or the product?
